Algunas especies pueden producir clics ultras\u00f3nicos que interfieren con la ecolocalizaci\u00f3n de los murci\u00e9lagos, mientras que otras almacenan compuestos t\u00f3xicos de sus plantas hospedantes para disuadir a los depredadores. <em>Dysauxes famula <\/em>es una peque\u00f1a polilla tigre diurna descrita por primera vez en 1836. Es una especie que prefiere el calor y tiene una amplia distribuci\u00f3n, desde el C\u00e1ucaso y Asia Menor hasta partes del sur y centro de Europa. Sus orugas son muy adaptables en su alimentaci\u00f3n, consumiendo una variedad de plantas como el diente de le\u00f3n y la zarza, e incluso pueden sobrevivir en musgos, l\u00edquenes y hojarasca.
