Destaca especialmente por su aspecto fantasmal y transl\u00facido, su extraordinario camuflaje y su estrecha relaci\u00f3n con el gusano de seda, especie explotada comercialmente. Cuando descansa con las alas plegadas, puede parecerse asombrosamente a un fragmento de madera muerta, corteza o hojarasca, lo que hace que su camuflaje sea sumamente efectivo. Observ\u00e9 esta inusual polilla descansando durante el d\u00eda en el ba\u00f1o del lodge donde me hospedaba durante mi visita al Parque Nacional Yasun\u00ed en diciembre de
