It was however a very hard road

Distance 38 km (cum. 8,100 km); Ascent 733 m (cum. 60,064 m). Despite starting very early I did only half of the route planned for today, according to the cyclist website. It was however a very hard road, it took me more than 5 hours, and the steep descents were equally hard as the steep climbs on the very tough dirt roads here... I think that the route descriptions on this website were made by guys who came here lightly packed, maybe coming just for few weeks in Bolivia on their mountain bikes... For long term bicycle tourers it seems impossible to climb 2000 meters per day, especially on steep dirt roads!
