This is just the beginning

Distance 46 km (cum. 9,054 km); Ascent 952 m (cum. 67,738 m). I start feeling in my legs the passage through the steep mountains of Peru, and this is just the beginning! Yesterday I descended from the pass at 3,800 m down to 2,000 m, and today I started climbing back to 4,000 meters! I could even try to get today to Abancay (on the other side of this mountain), but I started too late and could reach the end of this steep climb very late in the evening, in the dark. I thought I'm not in such hurry and preferred to keep my forces for the incoming month of insanely steep climbs :)
