This report summarizes the results of a case-control study to determine which activities contributed to the transmission of COVID-19 in Norway's capital city. The study was commissioned by the Oslo administration to optimize control measures. Study preparation was lengthy, primarily due to formal requirements related to data protection and ethical considerations. Coincidentally, we recruited cases and controls during the period of greatest spread of the alpha variant in Oslo, between weeks 10 and 12 of 2021.
